How can we help?
If you are unsure where to begin, we hold free drop in sessions every Monday between 5pm and 7pm where you can call in without the need for an appointment and have a chat with one of our instructors. These sessions are helpful if you are new to dog ownership and are not sure where to begin, if you have specific issues that you would like to address that may not be covered in general training classes or if you are an experienced owner and would like to progress to a higher level. Also, if you have questions regarding problems around the home, in the park or anything else we will do our best to help and give as much advice as you need.
We like a challenge!
It is extremely rewarding to work with owners and their dogs and make a positive change in their life.
Having a well trained dog is a wonderful thing. However, it is not straight forward for all dogs and having a dog that doesn’t get along with other dogs or people can be extremely worrying. If you have a dog who shows an extreme reaction to other dogs, people, certain scenarios or all of the above. This reaction may be fear, nervousness, extreme barking or aggression. There are steps that can be taken using positive reward techniques to help this behaviour along with improving the confidence of owners so that they are able to manage any problems. Please call in to our drop in session for a chat.
What can you do?
We can work with you and your dog in a controlled environment to work on soclialisation before moving you under supervsion to a group class when appropriate.
